The Development Company (TDC) has
funded 134 SBA 504 Loans through fiscal year-end 9-30-2004. The total amount of those loans was $38,082,000. Those loans created 2,612 jobs and saved 374 for a total of 2,986 jobs. The amount of
private dollars leverage between the borrower and the private third party lenders was $84,528,564. Chart I shows the relationship between the SBA loans and the private dollars.
Out of the nine counties we serve, the SBA 504 program has penetrated six. Chart II shows that penetration.
Per capita income for the nine county areas is $17,079. Based on the numbers of jobs created above, the following Chart III indicates the amount of Income, Federal Taxes, State Taxes, and Property Taxes that are created by the program each year.
